The previous back addition of a metal staircase and living room area to this small townhouse felt like it needed something more: The first floor was gloomy and resulted in a succesion of narrow rooms while the odd shape of the living room was hard to furnish. The scope of work consists in connecting both spaces in harmony. From now on, the existing first floor nests a home office, an open kitchen and dining area, all flooded with light. In the back addition, a fireplace structures the volumes and recentered the living room. A graphic color scheme and custom made cupboards revealed this charming house to its full potential.
